Alan Jackson Concludes Historic Touring Career with Farewell Concert in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN — Country Music Hall of Fame member Alan Jackson has officially concluded his storied, decades-long live touring career with a monumental final performance on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Titled "Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale," the sold-out event drew an audience of more than 80,000 fans to Nashville's Nissan Stadium.\n\nDespite severe weather delays earlier in the evening, the country traditionalist delivered an emotional, career-spanning set. The evening featured a retrospective of his greatest hits, including "Chattahoochee," "Livin' on Love," "Remember When," and "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)". Highlighting Jackson's influence across generations, the performance was celebrated by fans, peers, and family alike, including guest appearances by fellow country icon George Strait and a special video tribute from Taylor Swift.\n\nJackson, who has been battling Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease—a chronic neuropathic condition affecting his motor skills and balance—made the decision to step away from full-length touring after forty years. Across his historic career, Jackson has sold more than 60 million records, earned two Grammy Awards, and secured 35 number-one singles, cementing his legacy as one of the genre's most prolific singer-songwriters.\n\nWhile this concludes his live touring era, Jackson's musical output continues. Just days before the concert, Jackson released a brand new country cover of the Orleans classic "Still the One," dedicated to his wife of nearly 50 years, Denise. Additionally, the historic final concert was recorded live for an upcoming live album release and an NBC television special. Fans who were unable to secure tickets to the stadium were able to view the historic event via free public livestreams hosted on Broadway and at the Country Music Hall of Fame's CMA Theater.
