Alan Sawyer was born on March 15, 1985, in Springfield, Illinois. From a young age, he exhibited exceptional talent on the basketball court, quickly establishing himself as a standout player at Springfield High School. His combination of agility, shooting accuracy, and court vision caught the attention of several college scouts.
